MGB-GT PLANET SFP-Port 1000BASE-T RJ45 Module
The MGB-GT is a PLANET MGB Series SFP-port 1000BASE-T module that provides a copper RJ45 interface for compatible SFP slots. IEEE 802.3ab 1000BASE-T PHY type, RJ45 auto-negotiation, auto-MDI/MDI-X, and a maximum copper distance of 100 m.
It is useful when a switch or media converter with an SFP slot needs a Gigabit copper handoff instead of a fibre transceiver. The hot-pluggable SFP family format supports flexible port use while keeping the final link type matched to the installed cabling.
