The HID-2080 iCLASS Clamshell Smart Card is a 13.56 MHz read/write contactless credential for electronic access control. It uses HID iCLASS smart card technology with mutual authentication, encrypted data transfer and 64-bit diversified keys, and is supplied as a 2k bit (256 Byte) card with two application areas.
Built with an ABS shell and PVC cover label, this clamshell card is suited to demanding access control environments where a durable credential is required. The HID standard access control application area can be factory or field programmed with existing HID formats, while the second application area supports user customisation.
