270R is a Honeywell hardwired hold-up switch in a plastic case. It uses the shared plunger type DPDT switch design, selectable latching or momentary action and 0.2 A at 30 VDC maximum switch rating.

It is intended for silent hold-up notification in discreet locations such as banks, jewellery stores and retail establishments. The plastic-case variant gives the 270R its product distinction while retaining the family wiring and operating characteristics.
