TANMET-44WG-18 is a Tane MET-44 WG surface mount armoured reed switch for commercial overhead door alarm applications. It features a 4.22 in x 1.73 in x 0.47 in contact body with an aluminium case, 18 in armoured leads, and a 2 in standard operating gap.
Designed for floor mounting beneath overhead doors, the switch is used with the magnet mounted to the bottom of the door. The armoured lead construction provides cable protection for exposed roller door and shutter monitoring applications.
