SMISLSTEEL Smart Innovations Smart SL Steel Universal Vandal Resistant Access Control Reader
The Smart Innovations Smart SL Steel is a universal access control reader for mobile and proximity credentials. It supports U-PROX BLE ID via NFC or Bluetooth Low Energy, ISO 14443A Mifare credentials including Mifare Plus SL1 and SL3, NFC standards ISO 14443 and ISO 15693, and multiple 125 kHz RFID formats. Adjustable Wiegand, TouchMemory, RS-232 and encrypted RS PRO interfaces help integrate the reader with new or existing access systems.
The vandal-resistant 1.2 mm stainless-steel case and IP65 rating suit demanding access points, while three BLE operating modes cover close-range double-sided doors and turnstiles through to barrier and gate applications with an adjustable range of up to 15 m. U-PROX Mobile ID manages phone-based credentials for compatible Apple and Android devices, and the U-PROX Config app allows indication and encryption modes to be adjusted from a smartphone.
