The HDD2000S is a Seagate SkyHawk 2TB SATA surveillance hard drive for video storage systems. It uses the ST2000VX008 model with a 2 TB formatted capacity, SATA 6 Gb/s interface and a 64 MB cache.
It is intended for continuous security recording environments where storage needs to support multi-drive operation, streaming video workloads and drive health monitoring. It supports 24×7 operation, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring and a rated workload of less than 180 TB per year.
