VC-232G PLANET 1-Port Gigabit Ethernet over Coaxial Converter
The VC-232G is a PLANET Gigabit Ethernet over coaxial converter with one 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 port and one BNC VDSL connection for RG59/RG6 coaxial cabling. ITU-T G.993.1/G.993.2 VDSL2 support, CO/CPE mode selection, and DC 5 V external power.
It is intended for extending IP network services over existing coaxial cable, including surveillance upgrades where analogue camera cabling may already be present. Point-to-point pair operation helps convert coaxial infrastructure into Ethernet reach while retaining a compact metal converter format.
