The ASTRAPIDTAG is an Astuto RAPID smart credential tag for access control environments using 13.56 MHz credential technology. RAPID credentials are site-specific and factory-programmed with unique encryption keys, with SL1 encryption used for the ASTRAPIDTAG to help protect communication between the credential and reader.
The white ABS tag measures 42.1 x 36.1 x 6.3 mm and offers a read range of up to 5 cm, dependent upon installation conditions. It supports number-only printing, is rated for a minimum of 100,000 reads, and suits RAPID credential deployments where compact identification and controlled credential data protection are important.
